I've got a rattle that's only really noticeable under acceleration, it a metal rattle as if something is loose in the cats but it doesn't rattle at idle etc only under acceleration. Any ideas what this could be? Recently fitted a motordyne dx2 and all v bands are tight. Cheers Quote

Zeezeebaba Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 I've just replaced my cats but they only rattled on idle. Both were shot.I also found the rear heat shield loose but a washer sorted that out. Quote
JEMAN Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 I've got the same problem with my Z........sounded like the engine pinking......which I hope isn't the case, so I really hope it's something to do with the cats or loose bracket. It only does it when the cars warmed up and under load/ accelerating. If you get to the bottom of it before my.....please let me know what it is 1 Quote
