e-c-h Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Hi all, So Finally found my knock being the locking nut on the engine brace bar. Probably a silly question but would the adjustment of the Bar affect the feel of the steering in anyway? Would appreciate any help, Ed Quote
cmck13 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 (edited) Not sure but the correct tension etc is on this pdf. at page 2 and page 8. https://motordyneengineering.com/manual.pdf Edited February 23, 2015 by cmck13 Quote
Tricky-Ricky Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 You would need to apply some serious pressure either way to actually effect the geometry, and then it would only be very slight. 1 Quote
e-c-h Posted February 23, 2015 Author Posted February 23, 2015 Ok cool, thanks for the replies! My steering feels a little skippy sometimes and can pull about on the steering wheel do wasn't sure if that would be s contributing factor. The car has been lowered do I reckon that it may just be the nature of the beast! Ed Quote

If you lowered it and never had the geometry done this will be your problem 1 Quote

Is much better after alignment but I still feel like it's a little skippy. Edited February 23, 2015 by e-c-h Quote

My handling was thrown out from under inflated tyre but can't tell if there low because the low profile on them.. 1 Quote

I had very skippy tyres on my E36, when I changed to PSS it was magical ^_^ Quote

Do you think that those tyres would make that much difference?? Quote
