Tom Tom through car speakers?

Hudson

Recommended Posts

I have just bought a tom tom to put in my cubby but the speaker is crap.

Is there a way to get it to play through my head unit?

There is no jack plug or Bluetooth on the sat nav, just the charging plug.

Thanks

I took my old navman apart and wired in a £4 speaker from Maplins, fitted it behind the lower dash and it worked a treat :)

That could be worth a try, thanks ðŸ‘

I would take apart the nav first to see what connection is on the one in the unit but I used one like this

There will most likely be a mono connection so just connect to one terminal, remember to attach the speaker to some trim to get best volume ;)
