andy james
Has anyone had any experience of these type of storage systems? With the warm, damp wet winters we seem to be getting I was wondering if thy are the way forward as even In my carpeted well ventilated garage the car is covered in moisture/condensation on rainy days. leonk
I bought a dehumidifier for my garage in the end. With that and a bit of background heating I am managing to keep the humidity down to about 50% while outside is now regularly up in the 90% bracket.I have become a bit obsessed with watching various humidity meters but it has made a huge difference in the garage. 350 Russ
my dad had one for his lancia, it has fans that keep it inflated and they blew in rain so it filled up with water and had puddles underneath his car which then condensed when it was sunny so the car was still getting wet. It lasted about a month and its been the shed ever since with him moaning about how much it cost him.
JurassicZ
I use a Carcoon both in England for the Z and my classic Pagoda which is kept in Spain. They are both in garages. The Z in the UK has no damp on it even after 3 winter months. They do work well in a garage environment!
