I feel fairly confident they know what they're doing.. So they had my car in for drop links, wheels spacers, tein springs, tyres, wheel refurb for stage 1 of my zedlist.. They have just called to say they had the car running in the bay and noticed the temp rising to the point the fans should cut in, but they didn't. So they switched off and rang me to ask if i'd noticed anything. Well since getting the car i've not really been stuck in any traffic so haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. They have said in the past they have seen about 5 zeds with the same issue which ended up being the bushes on the fans. Their resolve was to swap round the bushes and all is well again.. this is a bit labour intensive but still better than buying new fans.
