Jdm owner
Hi, All as above what's the norm for these temperature wise as mine never reaches the 90 mark or middle off r the gauge so to speak. Also thinking is a cold running thermostat the norm for these engines.

Jdm owner
Will have a search I have no issues at all with over heating just a general observation, My previous motor had a cool running thermostat fitted. And seemed to operate at the same temp
Tricky-Ricky
Apart from std coolant temp gauges having a rather broad range before showing any fluctuations, the average coolant temps will range between 86 and 100c depending on thermostat, and is much the same for all petrol engines.
Jixaman
Theres an American guy on one of the G35 forums that researched that the temp guage sits at that just under half way mark ours do while it is in range, cant mind the two temp values but as long as its within the two it reads just below half... Only when theres an overheating issue does it move... True or false I actually thought mine was broke a it never went above where it sits... Was actually relieved when it overheated as I now know the guage works...
Mudman
Had a weekend playing with an OBDII reader - max temp my coolant reached was 91 but 99% of the time was 90. Fans did cut in a few times but mainly when static with engine running
