Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 In the last few weeks the radio reception in my car has gone from being OK to completely Sh!t... and it was a step change rather than a gradual deterioration. The radiocannot tune to any station and the presets are all grainy. I am guessing there are 2-3 potential reasons: ->the stubby aerial (Though it was perfectly fine a couple of weeks ago..._ ->The aerial base has got some water in it, corroded the amplifer board in it and packed it up.... -> Some wire/connector problem To eliminate antenna issues I want to fit the original whippy antenna... but I lost my original one ... anyone got one they are willing to sell...?
