Posted July 23, 2007 Share Posted July 23, 2007 In the last few weeks the radio reception in my car has gone from being OK to completely Sh!t... and it was a step change rather than a gradual deterioration. The radiocannot tune to any station and the presets are all grainy. I am guessing there are 2-3 potential reasons: ->the stubby aerial (Though it was perfectly fine a couple of weeks ago..._ ->The aerial base has got some water in it, corroded the amplifer board in it and packed it up.... -> Some wire/connector problem To eliminate antenna issues I want to fit the original whippy antenna... but I lost my original one ... anyone got one they are willing to sell...?
