Windows 7 roll back

Flex

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys, does anyone know if I install a program and it wipes a previous version of itself off will a time point restore fix it, I've got a feeling it wont i.e. the new version of the software will not roll back to the previous.

I have Sage on my machine and it has 3 separate old versions on it but the new version I'm installing is a different license type so worried it will wipe the others out (I know no one will have specific knowledge of Sage) I'm just asking from a general windows 7 perspective.

You should be able to install the newer version to a different folder (i.e. C:\Program Files\Sage 2014 instead of C:\Program Files\Sage)

That will allow you to run both copies at the same time ;)
