It was a fully folding roof wasn't it, a mate of mine owned a blue one and Karmann ghia, both lovely cars.

yeah fully fabric folding roof rwd as well and engine at the back !

 

wonder if they will keep that layout or not in the new one (prob not i guess) still 200hp on such a small car will be fun

Nah, its a widened Panda chassis underneath. Still, given the good reviews the warm Panda has had from EVO et al its not a bad starting point.
