370Ad Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Hello Guys, Anyone else experiencing this? With all the standing water we have been getting I have noticed the exhaust getting very loud and considerably deeper for about 5-10 seconds during drives. Checked the exhaust and no leaks/cracks I can see! My mates civic use to do this but never noticed it in the Z before. Cheers, Adam Quote
370Ad Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Had a google and it seems to do with the exhaust contracting rapidly after the water reducing the heat. Very odd! Quote
BulletMagnet Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Not odd at all, it's basic physics Quote

GMballistic Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Used to happen on my Civic Type R all the time with my custom S/S exhaust ~ hasn't happened on the Zed yet and I've driven it load's in the water so it's all good so far. Quote
