prob been asked before but what is advantage or disadvantage of under driven pulleys over standard size on 350z jdm on 03 reg

Reduce weight from crankshaft, so you will get few extra ponies

I would say if you change the whole set perhaps 5-6 bhp

thanks tired search but put in pulleys wont let me search and lightweight pulley brings one result ?

Don't underdrive anything, not worth the potential agro. Also take note that aftermarket pulleys dont have a damped crank pulley like oem.

 

Imo not worth the risk for such a small gain

Until they are dunno proven they'll not be going near my car. As Arran said, they're not dampened and this can cause premature engine wear. The car should rev more freely with them but I doubt they add any hp to the wheels at all.
