Hey guys, I've tried to find the answer on here but no joy so here goes...

Nes 350 owner, car has very nice spec (sat nav, hands free etc...)

It also has a 3.5mm audio Jack that comes down to the passenger footwel.(guessing previous owner habit installed)

Question i have is, how do I select it so I can play music from my phone etc..

Hope you guys can shed some light its driving me mad :(

Thanks

That's a new one on me! Have you tried the reset procedure ? It's at the end of the "iPod hack how to" it's something like turn ignition on until stereo come on (tape mode) then turn off, while holding tape eject for I minute

Thanks Zmessage t still nothing...

Have a feeling theres some dodgy soldering to blame

Got the message wrong its 'push eject' that flashes

Thanks again tho

Yes I've had a quick google "push eject" is one of a few messages that come up, the reset should still work for it . It took a few attempts and a bit of messing about when I did mine but it worked in the end

Great news! Whoever did the hack didn't remove the spring and slide inside the tape deck which stops it needing a tape in to work,

Don't mean to hijack this thread but do the facelift cars play mp3 CDs in the 6-cd changer or only standard audio format?

AFAIK only standard audio format

I thought so but worth a shot!
