I've just been looking at this on YouTube and it looks great. I think a few guys on here have 'dipped' interior bits?

 

What's the actual process of it or rather, how does it work?

 

Any ideas?

Sorry not sure exactly what you mean? Did you watch the video?

 

Basically it's like a sheet of "look a like" carbon fibre that wraps around the part and is stuck on via adhesive spray/backing. Then clear coated with a spray gun to protect it and give it a nice hard wearing finish.

That's kinda what I meant. The video shows the process but I didn't know how the sheet actually adhered to the surface. Like wether it was a chemical reaction or it literally just stuck to the surface

Looking at the clip above they spray a glue or activator onto the surface just before they push the item to be dipped through it.then it just sticks to the surface of whatever it touches
