Anoying ticking from Evap purge valve

I have an intermittent loud ticking noise thats coming from the evap purge valve.

 

It`s intermittent, comes & goes when it likes whether the engine is hot or cold. When it ticks you can hear it from within the cabin, it does it at idle, disappears at 1000rpm & returns at about 1200rpm. Has anyone else experienced this?

 

I don`t want to waste my time taking it to Nissan for it not to make the noise. If it`s a quick & fairly cheap fix I`ll do it myself rather than claim on the warranty.

I'm getting the same on mine 350 hr. Is random, seems to do it more when warming up

Just go to WLMG Mill Hill, they are a "performance centre" :|

Err thanks for the recommendation iRomania, but I think I'll steer clear of WLMG Nissan, I've heard a few not so good reviews.

 

Well I've just covered 1600miles in the last few days, can't say that I have noticed it & nothing broke apart from I found out that the rear speakers don't work
