MickJ Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 I have my eye on a pair of new and unused 'Z' badges to replace the front and rear Nissan items, how are they attached, is it double sided tape and are the Nissan badges fixed by the same method, what is the best way to remove them, i.e. would you use a hairdrier? Sarnie Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Front and back are stuck on and the rears have two locating plugs meaning the rears leaves two holes. Hairdryer and dental floss does the trick Quote
ms8qt Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 Sarnie - once you've taken off the original front & rear 'Nissan' badges, what's the best way to remove any tacky residue before fixing the new 'Z' badges? It's probably easy but I don't want to mess this up! Cheers, Mark. Quote
M13KYF Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 plenty of rubbing with ya finger. A small amount of lighter fluid or white spirit on a cloth we help to remove the final bits. You won;t mess up guide here http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1632 Quote
MickJ Posted June 12, 2007 Author Posted June 12, 2007 These two 'holes' on the rear, are they covered up by the 'Z' badge and is there any risk of water ingression? Quote
