For Sale: 350Z Custom Exhaust Centre Section

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I'm selling my centre section as I no longer need it. I had it specially made for my car to give it a bit more 'oomph' in the noise department. It has literally covered a maximum of 200 miles.

It will fit a car fitted with either the OEM backbox, or with a Japspped K2 backbox. It is a direct replacement for the OEM pipe that is probe to cracking near the join.

It is made from 3 inch diameter tube, whereas the OEM one is 2.25 inch diameter and has obviously no silencer to restrict gas flow :)

Regarding noise, it didn't make my system (standard cats & K2) much louder, due to the chambered design of the back box, but it did give it a much deeper and 'meatier' tone.

It's designed (and made) to replace the OEM mid pipe, so if an aftermarket back box is designed and sold as a 'plug and play' item, then it should be fine.

Systems such as the Cobra (and I believe the Milltek) are sold as cat-back (although this generally means Y pipe back on the Zed) and often feature their own pipe work, routing and connection points.

I know it will fit the OEM silencer and K2, it definitely won't fit a Cobra, I'm not sure about a Milltek.

No sound clips in afraid - it wasn't on the car long enough for me to take any!
