I got one of these as I thought it was a bit more fun than a straight code reader. Works over wi-fi rather than BT, the link can drop to my iphone after about 5-10 mins from time to time, but works plenty long enough to view fault codes. However, not had a real chance to test it in anger as I've not had any fault codes yet.

Like I said the one I have works fine and clears faults and reads logged faults, for £14 posted its worth a punt on JDM's.

Why is it worth a punt. It wont work with a jdm.

No one said previously it wouldn't work with a JDM. If someone has posted that I wouldn't have said it was worth a punt?

Sorry I think you misunderstand me. It won't work with JDM because UK cars use OBD2. Japanese imports don't use this system they use JOBD. Now JODB and OBD2 don't speak to each other. I have many readers at home but only my JOBD reader will read the imports code.
