Auction lists 350Z as 10mm X 1.25

 

just to confirm before ordering - what is the thread size for a 350Z GT4 6 speed ?

If its the same as all the others then that's the right size, m10x1.25.

I can confirm the GT4 has the same thread as any 350z. What that is I'm not sure, but it's the same!

Definately m10x1.25, only nissans that use m12 threads are s15 and R34

trying to fit the new gear knob

 

trying to mole grip the shaft so as secure it before twisting the gear knob off - but unable to get to it

 

there is a rubber gaiter that meets the bottom of the gear knob and a plastic tie that looks like it holding everything in place

 

anybody any ideas?

When I Mole Gripped mine, I gripped the Rubber gaiter around the pole, Seemed to work fine
