rmmackfc Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Guys, I planning on going down to Cambridge to one of my mates in August and was going to stop off in York for a few nights. Can anyboy recommend any hotels in the region that don't cost a fortune (want to save money as we're going to Newmarket races) but are equally not cheap and nasty. I'd prefer something out the city and with good parking Any recommendations would be appreciated. Cheers Quote

It's hard for me to recommend hotels as I don't actually stay in any of them but there's lots of typical type places on the outskirts i.e holiday inns etc. The Monkbar hotel is nice and has parking and is a a short walk from town centre and not far from lots of nice italian restaurants and minster.
