Blown LED's in Ventilation Controls

Hi Guys,

 

Firstly stolen the pic from another member "sorry" however, as in the image below all of mine itsnt lighting up, when i got the car i noticed that when to moved from recirculate to take from outside using the middle dial button the orange light would flick between each other now only one will light up also some of the positions on the dials dont light up...

 

I am thinking of doing the below mod with blue leds but is this a common issue with blow lights on this controller?

Never heard of anyone with this problem on the zed, but i have noticed it on other cars I've been in. I think it's a right shitter to fix.

have you checked the connector behind the control unit is properly connected. May have come a bit loose

Might be a silly question but how can you get to the bulbs behind to do this?

they are led's in a printed circuit board, i hope you have a steady hand and a really fine tip for your soldering iron because they are tiny!! it may be easier trying to source a used one

I'm sorry that's not quite right....... they are feckin tiny!!!!
