iPhone on jvc head unit

Not sure if its my updated software on iphone4 ,but for some reason my jvc unit doesn't connect to it..

Also was using my usb stick for music,everything was fine till today.Says cannot connect,check the device...

Anybody experience similar problems, any advice?

Have you tried doing a hard reset?

SMD had a JVC and iphone, PM him

Oh, and then he turns up late again

Update on USB...just connected it to my computer and it also doesn't recognise it..Looks like it died!

If it is just the phone maybd the BT list might be full

Haven't done any reset yet...I tried once my friends iPad(older model) and it was ok..

It may help, it may not, but I have an Alpine BT HU and since updating my iPhone4 to iOS 6 the BT hasn't worked very well (if at all).

 

Bit of searching online revealed that there is a firmware update from Alpine that I need to download and transfer to my HU to update it to work with iOS6. Might be a similar thing available for JVC

Was browsing online for last half an hour ,don't see any firmware update for my unit..I will get in touch with jvc uk,see if they can assist me..

Found mine on Alpine's site itself. But sounds like you've done everything I did to find an answer.
