Replacement brushes for passenger window motor

Hi all,

 

My Z's passenger window motor is on the fritz, and rather than fork out the ridiculous price for a replacement motor, I was gonna have a crack at repairing/rebuilding mine. The only issue is that I'm struggling to find replacement brushes here in the UK.

 

I need upright/stand up, uncut brushes for a 540 motor - has anybody here tried this before and knows where to get these, or have any spare/for sale?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Have you tried cleaning them up? Mine played up badly and with a bit of electrical cleaner the motor works everyone time without fail now.

Probably, but they will more than likely be refurbished or remanufactured motors and you will have the same problem again in 6 months time.
