Rent4Ring Nurburgring Voucher - 4 Laps in Suzuki Swift

Hi chaps,

I went on a Nurburgring excursion with my girlfriend on Sunday June 16th and rather than risk taking the Zed on track (which I strongly recommend you avoid - it's extremely dangerous out there) I rented Suzuki Sport Stage 1 from Rent4Ring to take advantage of the insurance cover and its specialised track performance, mostly in the form of very sharp brakes. It's surprisingly nippy once everything has been stripped out and slick tyres have been added, so don't assume this is a granny wagon - it's very fast.

Sadly we only got to use two laps of our six lap package before a motorcyclist hit a barrier and was tragically killed, ending the touristfarhten session for the day and setting a sombre mood among the crowd. Rent4Ring have given us a 4-lap voucher for the unused laps, which we are unlikely to use in the near future. Just to confirm, I will send the voucher, the original receipt and the contact details for the manager there to help you confirm its authenticity. The retail cost is €299 (£260) and is the ALL IN package with fuel and, lap tickets included in the price.

I'm looking for £200 and the voucher is valid for a year.

Cheers,

DT

EDIT: Msisleman has done some checks and has discovered that Rent4Ring require that you buy a basic €129 2-lap package before you can use this 4-lap voucher. This is due to customers having to sit through the safety briefing (30m video) and and process various T&C documents before they let you out on the Ring. Apologies for the oversight, they failed to mention this to me when I opted for a voucher.

Oh what a shame you did not get to use all your time in the Swift.

But then I guess worse for the biker that died.

I too hired a Swift for the Ring last year when I went and can also highly recommend this partially race prepared car for the Ring.

I am thinking of going later in the year as the German friends I have are saying there is huge doubt amongst the locals the Ring will be open after this year.

Will keep this in mind if i do go.
