I've just read the stickies on uploading pictures etc. but don't have an answer. Bear in mind this isn't my strong point.

Question is; I've used the 'IMG' code as recommended by Photobucket for 'forums', and my pictures have loaded as large thumbnails. When you click on them they link back to my Photobucket folder in a new window, whereas I have seen other members photos just expand to a good size, or are already a large size.

How can I do this? Is it just a different code from the four that Photobucket offer? Or have I missed something else? Cheers.

Photobucket appear to have changed this recently, and don't seem to offer and [ IMG ] code anymore. You should still copy the code listed as being the IMG code, but it now appears as

Still works for me via the iPhone app

Photobucket iPhone app? I'm on my iPad now and checked my PB app, and it still has the old [ IMG ] links.

Img tags work fine for me too. Both when I copy and paste the whole code from the photobucket app and if I copy a photo and type the tags myself

I used the 'img' code today, from a pc, and the thumbnail opens a window to my Photobucket page.

It shows the pictures okay, but it's not as user friendly as just expanding the photo in situ.

I just click on the code and it says 'copied', then paste it here.

copy the direct link code in photobucket for the image. After pressing the image button here when making post, it will ask for a url. paste the direct link code
