OsakaBen Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Just asking advice really. I've been quoted 2600+VAT for a colour change respray. Haven't picked a colour yet, but not looking at a candy paint, just a standard base coat/clear jobbie. This seems a little steep, however this may be the going price, I'm not sure - what do you guys think? Thanks, ben Quote
Yampiedog Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I reckon you could get a custom paint job for that sort of money. Quote
rtbiscuit Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Around 3k sounds right for exterior only, but if you go candy expect it to be more. Quote
S1 HNK Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Out of interest have you considered how this will affect resale? I don't know the answer just intrigued how a car would be valued with a colour change. What colour you thinking? It would take me weeks to decide Quote
OsakaBen Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 I've thought about it. It's already supercharged so would require a certain type of buyer anyway. As long as its tasteful I do think its effect it too much anyway Quote
OsakaBen Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 I've been considering so many colours haha Quote
marzman Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Does this include engine bay, door/boot shuts etc? Quote
modd1uk Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 A nice purple would be lovely. Or maybe Aston martin grey? Quote
