350z Paint Colour Code Guide

Hey Guys,

 

So I've got an 03 DE on gun metal grey (WV2) but when I've spoken to shops and looked online - WV2 comes up as 'silver'.

 

Is this normal? or have I got it wrong?

It probably is called Silver as a basic explanation of the colour on the car. Also bear in mind that other manufacturers may also use the same paint code and it can be a totally different colour, specifically its Nissan WV2

I grabbed this from somewhere I can’t  remember but its quite handy when talking about colours but they are all American
