Big Al 757 Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Hi Folks, Drove my 2003 GT Coupe for the first time at night on Sunday. Not impressed with full beam at all, hardly any difference between that and dipped. Has anyone else had this problem and/or what do you suggest as a better set up without modding the entire lamp unit? Ta Muchly, Al Quote
Removed Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 I'm quite pleased with mine tbh, used it recently in the country lanes around the hotel where i'm staying and seemed to light up enough for me..... Not sure if anyone else found some sort of solution to it? surely read it before, on the old board... Quote
Gus Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 At this time of year, easy for the lights to get quite dirty ( washers are useless imo ) - this can affect visibility quite drastically. However, assuming your lenses are clear, then some have upgraded the full beam bulb to a more powerful one - sorry can't remember details. Gus Quote
g_torphins Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Hi Al !! You might want to try this adjustment first before changing bulbs or whatever http://www.hypersprite.com/auto/tech-z-003/index.asp Quote
