Keyser Posted May 21, 2013 Share Posted May 21, 2013 If the de-cats have the mounts it can be used - I don't use it on my setup, de-cats are lighter so need less support than the OEM cats which are bloomin heavy. My first japspeed ones had a bracket but once they snapped the replacement ones didnt have one and neither did the silenced ones. The OEM Cats to Y pipe has 2 captive bolts so one side is round and welded in, the other side is the nut - which I grant you mat well be corroded to nothing much - grinder time. The top joints to manifold IIRC 2 point down and 1 up - you can with a "wobble" bar or UJ and extension bar get to them from the top with the help of "a Buster"* or other mate * a Buster = the largest but possibly most useful tool in the Zed Shed Edited May 21, 2013 by Keyser Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
