wanted Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 I need a 4x4 for the wife. I have a few acres of land that she keeps her horses on, so it's needed initially to get her and her tack etc across the field as she has trashed her A4. I was hoping for it to double as the family car so I dont want anything to utilitarian, but it will need to be able to withstand her trashing the inside a bit. I was thinking maybe xc90? Needs to be under 7k. Any thoughts on the xc90? Or any other suggestions? Quote
Bems Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 The Mitsubishi shoguns are big up here in Aberdeen with all the city folk with horses. Maybe a bit too utilitarian for you. What about a Nissan navara? My old mans had two and I use it often especially in the winter, they're brilliant! Quote
ioneabee Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 my missus has a CRV - been very good in all the snow and its the family car Quote
aidan Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 my wife traded from old shogun, to the 3.2 did and now onto a Pathfinder. The Pathfinders are good, and if you are doubling it up as a family wagon, very good. More car like than the Shoguns were. 7k might get you a high miler.....else a twin cab Navara.... Quote
