Shinjuku Posted January 14, 2013 Share Posted January 14, 2013 What are the best mods on the de engine jes. Is it spacer plus decat or hfc plus panel filter. What gain is that - c. 20 to 30 bhp? How much does a popcharger loose you from the optimum on that set up. If I retained both the oem cats and popcharger what would you expect the gain to be - or is that not worth while. Jez @ H-Dev Posted January 14, 2013 Author Share Posted January 14, 2013 The best combo is de-cats, spacer and remap - usually gets 20-30bhp. Panel filters don't make much difference, cone filters tend to draw in warm air and some brands do not have a smooth radius into the AFM.
