Daryl Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Well after a fair while plucking up the courage to hit the buy button,iv taken the plunge and ordered a new fly wheel from Cougar Store. Ordered it Thursday, and it arrived Friday. Looks nice, though this is irrelevant as it will never be seen again. Weights 6.3 kg,so hopefully will help the engine spin up nicely. Quote
Daryl Posted September 23, 2012 Author Posted September 23, 2012 Not yet, sorry, will be a couple of weeks yet. Im away for a week as of Friday. Aim is to have it fitted before the end of October. Quote

As long as you're not charging around the world somewhere with a certain F1 team enjoying yourself you are excused Quote

Rubbish - I still look at the photos of mine and even share them with the forum to let them know what a lovely clutch I have hiding inside Let us know how it performs and sounds Quote

Car is on 64k now,and the pedal is very heavy, and getting abit of clutch wiff from time to time now,so figured its time to bite the bullet and get it sorted. Also doing a track day at the end of October, and dont want it to fail there. Quote
Allan Zada Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 You got my number You going to uprated the clutch too? Quote

Flex Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 How many miles (if any) to wear in a new clutch? Dont be burning it out on the track without running it in first! Quote
