DaddyCee Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Hi All. Noob question. My back box (OEM) has been deemed as "on it's way out" as there is a hole where the flange meets the back box (apparently quite common). If changing the back box will it change the sound of the whole system or do I need to look at buying a full cat back system for this please? DC. Quote
Neilp Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Y pipe back as a minimum unless you can pick up a second hand box. Cheapest and most reliable and sporty sound are scorpion and cobra resonated. Both nice without being loud Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 You can fit a Y pipe back system, which is the middle and rear box... Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 The Cobra resonated system we do is a good step up from the OEM system - http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main ... cPath=1_10 Drop me a PM if you need any further information... Quote
ZMANALEX Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Clive, I may have a preowned OEM rear box in stock if you are on an economy drive. Let me know and I will have a look:thumbs: Alex. Quote
DaddyCee Posted August 7, 2012 Author Posted August 7, 2012 needs to fit a Roadster as well. Looked at Mongoose but their system doesn't fit the Roadster as "it has a slightly different floor plan (more bracing and strengthening as no roof)" Cheers. Quote
DaddyCee Posted August 7, 2012 Author Posted August 7, 2012 would this be able to be fitted as a replacement for the OEM back box? http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main ... ducts_id=2 Quote
