I'd be tempted to hang on to it as its a Ltd edition, Have you seen how much some people ask for these? Its at least double what you paid. Get your brother to take it out for a run once every three or four weeks, unless the work that needs doing is going to be expensive then get shot (of the car) and get a decent one upon your safe return.
