Scorpion Exhaust

Hi folks,

 

A friend of mine has a trade account with Scorpion , and i was wondering if the Z Scorpion exhaust is a worthwhile bit of kit. I know the Milltek exhaust is bound to be an equally quality bit of kit and theyre known for their performance but i prefer the look of the Scorpion , and as i say, id be able to get Scorpion bits at a fantastic price.

 

Was looking at a full scorpion, H-Dev spacer kit, induction and some form of remap to keep pace with a friends gently fettled S2k.

 

Mine is a 2004 276.

The Scorpion is a great exhaust, we supply and fit them all the time...

A scorpion is half price of the milltek straight away and if your getting a discount then even better. But the Scorpion come with no Y pipe where as the Milltek does. The Milltek will be better quality but you pay for it so its up to you. TBH I would get the Scorpion if your getting it dirt cheap you can probably sell it on ebay for as much as you bought it for if you dont like it that is.

Scorpion is basically the best all rounder before you get into silly money (whic to me is anything over 600 squid) bar none.

Scorpions good if you get cheap, I personally don't like the tips.

 

Pair it up with a Stillen Ypipe and Berk HFCs and you will get a decent air flow and fantastic sound

Only issue i can see is that the scorpion appears to be 2.5", how well would it mate to any other y piece as theyre all 3" also, wouldnt that mean it doesnt make as much power?

 

Whats the stock bore?

A stock exhaust can flow 400bhp so no worries.
