Hi, I was wondering if anyone had experienced the revs dropping when sat at idle once the engine is up to temperature? Is this a common fault? Any light shed on this would be great as my warranty is running out and I'm pulling my hair out  . Many thanks

A cold engine idles at a higher rpm.

Once the engine has warmed through, the idle will lower.

It's not a fault.

What do you means revs dropping?

They should settle with a/c off at 750ish I'm sure.

Remeber when stationary she's breathing lots of very hot air and doesn't like it one bit.

That's what I thought too Neil.

Think it's about 950 when cold on initial start-up. Then drops to 750.

Both correct +1

The revs drop for a few seconds kinda sounds like the engine is struggling and the engine management light comes on when it feels like it, the fault code reads engine running lean?
