THE-350Z-NUT Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Hi, I was wondering if anyone had experienced the revs dropping when sat at idle once the engine is up to temperature? Is this a common fault? Any light shed on this would be great as my warranty is running out and I'm pulling my hair out . Many thanks Quote
Lexx Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 A cold engine idles at a higher rpm. Once the engine has warmed through, the idle will lower. It's not a fault. Quote
Neilp Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 What do you means revs dropping? They should settle with a/c off at 750ish I'm sure. Remeber when stationary she's breathing lots of very hot air and doesn't like it one bit. Quote

THE-350Z-NUT Posted May 8, 2012 Author Posted May 8, 2012 The revs drop for a few seconds kinda sounds like the engine is struggling and the engine management light comes on when it feels like it, the fault code reads engine running lean? Quote
M13KYF Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 may require a new MAF sensor, or it may need cleaning, crc sensor cleaner is recommended for the maf Quote
