Whilst a ground loop isolator can be useful where a grounding issue or electrical interference/noise is to blame, in my case it a ground loop isolator would not fix the issue. I did test for this initially, but because the white noise could still be heard with the engine off, and the white noise would never change in terms of pitch or frequency whilst running the engine and revving, I ruled this out. In my case the issue was clearly a symptom of excessive gain levels to the speakers from both the headunit amp and Bose amp, which only a line output converter can reduce. That said, a ground loop isolator is still a good suggestion for anyone else reading this who happens to have symptoms that align with a grounding issue, rather than what I experienced 👍 Quote
