second car thoughts

after spending 3 months convincing my other half that it was yet another of my great ideas to get a zed and about 6 months ago getting a new kawasaki z750. im now trying to find a good, reliable second car mainly for her to drive. i only really do jap or german vehicles. any thoughts am thinking either civic or golf......i already tried the lets get another 350z, as there pretty much bomb proof and very reliable..didnt go down to well.

am leaning towards the golf or civic as ive owned both of these before, possibly more the civic as there literally bomb , bullet and nuke proof

e270 or e320 diesel. Will give awesome mpg carry 5 in comfort and they cruise, handle and soak up bumps in one car.

up until last year i had a facelift E46 320cd BMW M sport. fantastic cars, i had mine remapped to around 210Bhp (150 as standard). It would embarrass a lot of hot hatches, but still returned 48mpg and was brilliant to drive.

I had a 2.2 Civic Diesel for a bit; great cars just make sure the clutch and flywheel have been done if its an early model!

my next mission is to convince my partner the zed 1000 is a better option than the 750. although strangely shes happy for me to go back to super motos....ktm990 is a firm option

CTR is definately a good option, can be picked up cheap these days and running costs are hardly astronomical.
