Liam's Z Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 I'm defo travelling down friday afternoon and staying in a hotel on friday night. Which hotel m8t?
Jacko Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Do think so Especially if the Mrs can sort the Marriot hotel which is only a stone throw away out for free Damn, can she not do group deals?
bob350z Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Damn, you guys are rich talking about Hotels! Mind you with my son sharing mine and farting and snorting all night once he has had a few - it sounds like a good idea.... or maybe a call into Asda for his own tent . Will we be the only poor sods in a tent? I saw a cople of references to a barby - with no golf clubs and almost no luggage I will be bringing my small kettle barbie, (a few coals and lighters) and can also bring a small kettle gas barbie for use. Will arrive about 9:00 a.m. Saturday - for those who have been in the past is that a good time or should I arrive earlier?
M13KYF Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Val mentioned a time of 10am. So you can get a hours more kip or an hours more car cleaning.
Removed Posted July 17, 2006 Author Posted July 17, 2006 guys I just suggested 10am, up to you, I have always made it on the friday (i got there on a saturday the first year but it was a billing). I'd also like to remember it's a BRING YOUR OWN FOOD AND DRINKS type of thing unless of course you want to bring more for everyone else I for one won't share anything unless they camped with us
Liam's Z Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Do think so Especially if the Mrs can sort the Marriot hotel which is only a stone throw away out for free Damn, can she not do group deals? Struggling to get in ourselves for the weekend for free

Chesterfield Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Everyone has their reasons for non attendance. Things are often more important than a car club. We will be certain to make sure there are plenty of pics etc for all those who cant join us at the event.

Revsport Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Here it goes again guys As i said earlyer on the post I spun my car on a pothale damaging a wheel. Had teh Std weels back on but there may have been more damage than expected as 2 bolth have threaded off of the Hub. I have ordered up new bolts but its if thecome in time. As for the wheel it might not be fixable. Will keep you lot posted
Removed Posted July 19, 2006 Author Posted July 19, 2006 can't a Scottish owner lend you some bolts??
Chesterfield Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Are you after the bolts that attach to the wheel hub itself or the nuts that screw on to the bolts? If its just the nuts, I can lend you some until your desired ones turn up.
