hey guys, fitted some HFC on my 313HR, and also have cosworth filters but dont have the time at the momment for a remap

am i f-ing the car up without the remap?

maybe its in my head but it feels more powerful, from 2k upwards, but i feels like theres a blip in power just before the 2k mark

this is probly due to a remap right?

Power doesn't even begin at 2K rpm, it's nothing I'd worry about. Reset the ECU and give the MAF a clean, will make more of a difference than you'd think if you're still worried. :)

Sounds fairly normal if I'm honest, I struggle to think of a (petrol) car of any kind that makes any sort of power below 2K rpm so it'll always feel a bit friskier once you get the needle moving.

Ekona,

being a late car it will have 2 Air flow meters but I doubt these will need cleaing on such a late low mileage car.

I agree we set the ECU to reomve the self learn within the ecu that it has learn over a period of time;

The HR motors run so rich stock I would think adding HFC's will not cause any problems fitting to a stock car, but the remap will help, but we do see a reduction in low end torque after fitting HFC's/Decats or Motordyne ART pipes on these cars , we do tweak the cams to help this on the remap.

Any more questions ask away.
