difference in headlights???

what is the difference between prefacelift and facelift headlights and when did facelift start? Was it in 2006? My passenger side headlight is smashed so am looking for the same as what is on the drivers side of my 52plate fairlady... The only difference I see is the orange strip on the prefacelift.

Early lights were Xenon, face lift lights are Bi-Xenon and have led's in place of the orange strips. Change was in '06.

Facelift ones are also a fair bit more expensive but do look and perform much much better

No, the facelifts don't have the orange strip. If you compare the lights side by side then you'll see that the insides of the lights are completely different. Also, I'm not certain that U.K lights have the same connector or specification as The JDM lights . One of the experts should be able to advise you on this.

Face lift lights have orange led's at the top side, instead of the orange reflective strip. People are confusing what is lit, and what is reflective.

Thought I had pre-facelifts on an 07 for a minute and thought it was a front end damage sign.
