Space between Exhaust/floor pan - raising exhaust?

Hi there folks,

bit of a strange one, but tried doing a search to try to find some answers, but had no joy. I was wondering if anyone knows the approximate gap from the top of the exhaust (mid section) to the bottom of the floor pan?

I believe the exhaust is standard apart from a k1 back box/section.

The reason i ask is that my car parking space is in a basement that requires me to drive down a relatively steep ramp... unfortunately this means that i just catch the heat shield on the "apex" of the ramp everytime i take my car in and out

What i'm thinking is, would it be possible to get the exhaust mounts modified slightly to make the exhaust sit a little higher?

It would only need to get raised by 1-2 inches max and would (in theory) sort out the issue.. unless i got a fatty in the car! :scare::lol:

Thanks in advance

And IF it could be raised you ought to think about some improved heat shielding as we all know the cabin gets warm enough as it is from the exhaust ;)
