I have read that these only fit UK cars with a modification,has anyone fitted one of these systems and if so what kind of mod did you have to do to make it fit?

 

From what i can gather so far is the heat shield around the rear diff has to be removed.

But of the top of my head, I think you need to remove the diff shield to make it fit.

 

I had a 5zigen fitted to mine for 2 years, and removed the diff shield for that, so it's not an issue.

Yep,i had one, lovely sound,really miss it. Yes diff guard needs removing,but its no biggie.

is that all diff guards? i read in the above thread it needed approx 5 hours of mods to get them to fit?

You only have one diff guard. It was about 4 hours of modding but our cars were used as templates. As mentioned, topgear now sell them to fit UK spec cars.

thats my advert, but they have cut off alot of the text. I wrote 2 bloody paragraphs! Also it now just says its a hks but it isnt its a replica

Cutting the pipes, and reforming them to clear the diff,then rewelding, nothing that a custom exhaust shop couldnt do.
