Railgun Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Very nice. Do all the Black Editions have the red interior? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-370Z-3 ... 500wt_1396 Quote
Watshot Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Cat D and 82% feedback, for that price I think I would look elsewhere for a straight one. Shame. Don't know about the red interiors. Quote
Railgun Posted October 10, 2011 Author Posted October 10, 2011 Jeez, just noticed the CAT D bit. Wonder what the boggle is? Quote
HassanZ Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I would have attempted to clean the insides of the wheel arches before I took any pics, bit of a put off seeing all that dirt in there. But then I am very fussy Quote
Chris`I Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I would have attempted to clean the insides of the wheel arches before I took any pics, bit of a put off seeing all that dirt in there. But then I am very fussy I'd be more bothered about what happened to it to make it a Cat D Its also on the list ( viewtopic.php?f=70&t=41164 ) as being owned by wizardofoz85 who hasnt been on here in quite some time. Wonder what happened to it Quote
ace Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I should not think much happened to it to be a CatD what with the cost of spares for one of these. Quote
R35LEE Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 It had a VERY minor front bump that set off the pedestrian safety system (the bonnet rams). Was silly it was put on the list really The new owner bought it for top money with only 1,600 miles on it so it hasn't been used much Nice looking car Quote
Chris`I Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 The bonnet rams cost enough to make it a Cat D? I knew they were expensive but Quote
R35LEE Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 the control unit for them and the rams are uber expensive. Think they put a new front bumper on too. I have one ram in stock if anyone needs them in the future People have actually started moving the sensors back to try and stop the rams popping at 10mph nudges. They live low down in the front bumper skin usually Quote
Chris`I Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 People have actually started moving the sensors back to try and stop the rams popping at 10mph nudges. This is why I reverse park into a space Quote
R35LEE Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I think some guy wrote an R35 off trying to park it I have also heard they can be set off with a good kick, however I have not tested this with a practical test Quote
Chris`I Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 So do you reckon we could just unclip it (intact) from the bumper and tape it up somewhere? Quote
R35LEE Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Would need unbolting from bumper (2 x 10mm nuts from memory) and bolting further back really. I wouldn't just Tie-wrap them Quote
Chris`I Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Fair point, dont want them deciding to pop the bonnet on their own accord Quote
R35LEE Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 When the weather gets bad I will do this mod to my own car and do a guide I expect my car will be into storage at the end of the month when salt gets thrown down. Quote
Chris`I Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Aye, thats why we have the Alfa now me and the good lady can car share. Quote
rabbitstew Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Some very dubious feedback people have left the guy about dodgy mileage etc.... Im not sure about the red interior... not my cup of tea, but nice how they have painted the calipers to match. Quote
R35LEE Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Can't speak for other cars he / she have sold. I just know this one was bought approx 2 months ago with history and 1,600 miles on her from new so Mileage appears genuine. I had a customer wanting to buy it but it went for massive money Quote
