AMT Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Although I realise it can go more in line of ...whats more likely to get nicked, but ... it costs more to insure a hot hatch than it does a Z.... eg... Focus ST, Civic Type R...newest shape... £2000+.. where as the Z... £1400 or less lol. Funny how it works, if only they "knew" Don't worry I won't be buying a hot hatch though, I know where my sights are set Quote
Lexx Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 You'll find its got more to do with the precieved image of people who drive hot hatches, versus those who drive actual sports cars. Quote
AMT Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 Love that... "actual" sports cars lol. Cheeky remark to hot hatch drivers in there somewhere Quote

Wrong or not, to be a sports car for me a car needs to be RWD and actually built to be an actual sports car - ie not have 20 opther variations with random 1.0 l versions dsigned for grannies to carry the shopping in. nzr350z Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 +1 on that,i wanted a sporty car,not a tarted up,double the price of a basic model hot hatch. Quote
AMT Posted October 7, 2011 Author Posted October 7, 2011 I'll agree on that. May I hint at the 3 series BMW being one of those who I would not class as a "proper" sports car. I can't say anything the now though with FWD ... lol Quote
