Also my oil is running pretty low at the mo, dipstick is near the bottom, I've ordered some Fuchs from opie but until that comes could I stick some castrol 5-30 fully synthetic in it to keep it topped up then put the Fuchs in when it arrives?

I'd top it up

Any oil is better than no oil ... never never never let your oil get that low
