coldel Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Insurance up for renewal, since we insured it last (cost was just under £700) I added Volks Wheels and a Stillen Intake. Also, and a big also, Becks managed to get caught checking texts whilst in gridlock on the Wandsworth one way system - so got a CU80 and 3 points. Also with all this talk of insurance going up wasn't looking forward to sorting it all out. Anyway, requoted £670 the points added £170 but they halved it when I protested as Becks has used them for a few years now (so without points our premium would have been around £590!) Checked the paperwork and they hadn't carried over the wheels modification, also I told them of my recent intake install - extra cost of wheels and intake = zero I tried Admiral and they couldnt beat it (pobably because of the discount). Good outcome from whatI was expecting to be a bit of a 'process'... Quote
