Definitely worth a shot if you haven't already tried. Alternatively R35LEE breaks Zeds so try him too. Can't see why you couldn't substitute a DE for a HR, but it would really be a downgrade. I think you'd also need to swap the transmission, ECU and loom too. Quote

DannyBoy Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I casually looked at this the other way around (DE to HR) a while ago, and the message I got was that it would be way more hassle than it's worth. The kind of numbers that were being thrown around for the swap were almost FI money, apparently it isn't a 'plug and play' swap at all. i can't see why it would be easier in reverse. I can take the engine out and put it back in so if anyone knows of someone that can replace all the seals then maybe i could do that? Quote
