Been speaking to Mark at Abbey re various things (top secret), however during my most recent conversation he has mentioned that they have now purchased some very expensive software, which allows them to remap stock 350 Z ecus, hence no need for a piggyback. Is supposidly the real deal

If so, this is a blinder, yes?

All I know is he said it cost them a fooking fortune, but will also save me the cost of a new ecu and crade etc

Do they have any ideas what they could get out of our standard cars by simple remapping things a little?

is this the software that Technosquare uses in US? I know they sell it and I know it's a four figures amount.

Only issue I have with this type of solution is... no future proofing. You reflash once, then have to do it again if you change anything else. With a proper piggyback you have to remap too, but it's way less hassle imo.

Another question:

If you have the standard car configuration, might there be any benefit to having a remap done to optimise the specific build (kinda like what we used to do with parts, called Blueprinting)?
